We need your help caring for our gyms Chester Basketball Families,
As we resume the second half of the season, we need your help.
It has come to our attention from the Chester Board of Education that there have been a few incidents in our Chester gyms including the following:
- Broken ceiling tile at Bragg
- Damaged gym equipment in Dickerson
- Repeated activity behind the curtain on the Dickerson Cafetorium stage
Consequently, we are currently under scrutiny and being monitored at all times via ceiling cameras, and most importantly, at risk of losing gym access.
We suspect the majority of the damage was caused by unsupervised siblings. As you may have seen, Chester Basketball recently purchased and distributed A-frame signs discouraging playing in the hallways. Even though this is a good first step, however, we need your help:
- Please supervise your children at all times
- Do not play in the hallways
- Do not allow your children to play with equipment on the Dickerson Cafetorium stage
- Do not touch any gym equipment in Dickerson
- Do not operate the dividing wall in the BRMS gym
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation caring for our gyms.
We wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2023!
